SEATTLE, WA–The University of Washington Men’s Soccer team are off to their first College Cup in program history after knocking off Saint Louis University, 2-0, before over 3,600 at Husky Soccer Stadium. It leaves the Billikens still searching for their first College Cup since 1997 and first national title since 1973.
Meanwhile, the Huskies now head to WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC, to take on Georgetown in the National Semifinals on Friday (time TBA, ESPNU). Clemson and Notre Dame will contest the other semifinal in an all-ACC matchup. The winners will play for the Cup on Sunday at 11am Pacific time on ESPNU.
