VANCOUVER, BC–Both teams got their first point, but both are still looking for their first goal of the season as the Whitecaps and NYCFC played to a 0-0 draw at BC Place. For NYCFC, this ends a grueling road trip that included a Concacaf Champions League in Los Angeles for their “home leg” as well as an Opening Day loss to LA Galaxy. Thomas Hasal made four saves for the Whitecaps.
