While an early goal from Lisa De Vanna in the 22nd minute had the Matildas ahead the majority of the game, Australia had to settle for the tie thanks to a stoppage time header from Lindsey Horan.
The US and Australia have four points each in the tournament with Brazil just a point behind. The final games will be played August 2nd at Toyota Park in Illinois.
