FOXBOROUGH, MA–New England Revolution were already eliminated from playoff contention, but they did the same to Atlanta United after defeated them, 2-1, at Gillette Stadium. Giacomo Vrioni scored from the penalty spot in the 32nd minute after being fouled in the box by Raul Gudino. Josef Martinez equalized with a bicycle kick in the 81st minute, but Gustavo Bou ended the Five Stripes’ playoff hopes five minutes from time.

It is also time for Kari Heistad’s tenure as photographer at Prost Amerika. She has taken photos for the Revolution for a decade and she is moving on and Burt Granofsky will succeed her. We wish the best for Kari and thank her and Burt for their contributions this season.
