FOXBOROUGH, MA–A 90th minute own goal condemned New England Revolution to a second successive home loss–this time 1-0 against New York Red Bulls who are now 3-for-3 on the road. This despite the face that the Red Bulls were down to ten men from the 73rd minute when Frankie Amaya picked up his second yellow card of the night. Ashley Fletcher’s cross was deflected by Andrew Franklin and then off Matt Polster and into the net for the game’s only score. Insult to injury would be added to the Revs in the fourth minute of stoppage time when Adam Buksa got his second yellow for kicking out at the Red Bulls’ Sean Nealis.
