Homegrown Jackson Conway netted his first MLS goal in just his third appearance. Anton Walkes wore the captain’s armband for the first time and scored his second goal of the season. Alec Kann also made six saves in his first MLS appearance since May 13, 2018.

- Marcelino Moreno was Atlanta United’s best player providing the corner kick headed home by Jackson Conway for the 2nd goal. Unfortunately, Moreno also suffered a game-high eight fouls.

- Atlanta United’s George Campbell came on to replace Mo Adams in the 23rd minute, marking the first time Atlanta had three Homegrown players on the field simultaneously. The other two Homegrown players were Tyler Wolff and Machop Chol.
- Atlanta United defender Alex De John made his first start for the club and suffered a broken elbow late in the match but remained in for the final 20 minutes.
