Colorado Rapids defeated Minnesota United, 2-o, at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park to remain fourth in the West while Minnesota drops to seventh. Braian Galvin scored just before halftime to put the Rapids ahead and then Andre Shinyashiki secured the points in the 81st minute. Minnesota finished with ten men after Ramon Abila was sent off in the 86th minute.
