COMMERCE CITY, CO–The Rapids missed out on a chance to go top of the West, albeit temporarily, as LA Galaxy held them to a 1-1 draw at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. Michael Barrios headed in a cross from Andre Shinyashiki in the 66th minute to put the Rapids ahead, but Samuel Grandsir would equalize ten minutes from time to grab a point.
