COMMERCE CITY, CO–Colorado Rapids and Columbus Crew played to a 1-1 draw at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Saturday night. Cucho Hernandez scored for the Crew five minutes in, but Diego Rubio scored from the penalty spot four minutes from halftime after Steven Moreira blocked a shot in the area with his hand. The result puts the Crew in fifth on 34 points, but just one point above four teams on 33 points including Orlando, Inter Miami, New England, and FC Cincinnati. The Rapids are in tenth and two points adrift of the playoff line with three teams to pass.
