The Washington Spirit continue to be a bogey side for the Chicago Red Stars. The Red Stars were pegged back, 1-1, by the Spirit after a Crystal Thomas strike in the 88th minute cancelled out one by Savannah McCaskill. Both teams have one match remaining in the NWSL Fall Series, both against Sky Blue FC. The Spirit play them this coming Saturday while the Red Stars will visit them the following Saturday.
