Tonight at 7PM ET, at the Red Bull Arena, the New York team receives the Montreal Impact in their 3rd confrontation in this 2016 official season.
The Red Bulls are coming into this match looking pretty good in terms of standings. Although they had a draw in their last match against Toronto FC, they maintain a pretty comfortable position at 3rd in their Eastern Conference.
As for the Montreal Impact, their position is not quite as comfortable. They suffered a 3-1 loss last week against the New England Revolution and have recently been rubbing close to the red line in the conference standing. So we can quite imagine that this club will be going strong this close to the end of the regular season in order to gain the most 3 points to insure not only their qualification in the playoffs but also to climb back up in standing as they were earlier in the season.
One advantage that the Impact has at the moment is that they have one less match played in comparison to its close ranking competitor. All the more reason to pick up momentum and getting those wins.
