Toronto, ON – The team of Greg Vanney keeps going without direction, erratic movements and a deficient defensive line gives the free way to a victory to the United States group.

On the mark of Canada Day, in front of 26,363 loyal fans, Toronto FC wasn’t capable to get even one point.

It is in the 3rd minute with 33 seconds, when a defender comes closer in the 16.50 area and shoots an apparent ball without much danger, but Alex Bono was not able to stop.  In comparison to last season, Bono has greater pressure to defend the arc with a defensive line that is less solid, therefore more responsibility on his shoulders to compensate.

The Red Bulls took advantage of the champs and started their camping day on the field.  The players guarded their opposing player and protected their goal advantage.  None of the Vanney strategies were the right ones in order to take dominium by the visitors.

Luis Robles, the goalkeeper justified his salary in a proper way, offering a great performance in his door.

Unfortunately TFC lost their patience, after several tries from Sebastian Giovinco to go into the area, the Italian player is not the same Capo we are used to seeing.  He had a chance to equalize the match with a penalty kick, but gave away his intentions and Robles shut him out.  He needs to find back his temperament, because it is not the first time he has missed a penalty as of late.

It is not the first time we say this in this 2018 season, the group needs to regroup and make some impactful changes.  They might even need to consider to use someone else to take those penalties when they present themselves.
