FOXBOROUGH, MA– The New England Revolution II have announced that they have signed Forwards Alex Monis, Andrej Bjelajac and Defender Collin Smith
They all will occupy Senior roster slots.
The Trio join Colby Quiñones & Lucas Maciel as the only other players that have signed offseason MLS NEXT Pro contracts with the New England Revolution II.
The signings bring the Revolution II roster to 14 total players.
Alex Monis, 20, joins the New England Revolution II from Chicago Fire FC, where he signed a home-grown player contract in March of 2020. The Forward has tallied 11 goals & 2 assists in 40 MLS NEXT Pro appearances. He spent the 2023 campaign on loan to Rio Grande Valley FC of the USL Championship, where he tallied 1 goal in 6 appearances.
Andrej Bjelajac, 18, joins the New England Revolution II from Serbian league Omladinksa Liga Srbije. He has most recently featured for RFK Grafičar Beograd U19s. In the last 3 seasons, Bjelajac has made 44 appearances (1700+ minutes) where he has tallied 15 goals and registered 3 assists.
Collin Smith, 20, joins the New England Revolution II from FC Dallas. The defender registered 106 career appearances (7,080 minutes) where he tallied 6 goals and registered 9 assists. He has previously played for North Texas SC (2020) and spent a season on loan at Birmingham Legion FC (2023).
The New England Revolution II have yet to name a new a new Head Coach, but Caleb Porter and Curt Onalfo are ready to begin their preparation for their 2024 campaign.
