Negotiations very advanced between the Portland Timbers and Legia Warzaw for striker Jaroslaw Niezgoda

The Portland Timbers GM and President Gavin Wilkinson is a man hard at work in building a total contender for the upcoming 2020 season. Per this story, the Rose City squad is currently in negotiations with Polish giant Legia Warzaw.

Portland is looking forward to completing the signing of striker Jaroslaw Niezgoda sometime soon.

For Jarozlaw Niezgoda, 24, and 6-foot 1-inch height, the man comes with an impressive CV in his career as a striker in his native Poland.

Per reports online from Polish site Przeglad Sportowy, Niezgoda is ready for a foreign transfer and would like to join the Portland Timbers with a transfer fee of five million dollars and a contract of $750,000 dollars a year with an increase of $150,000 every season.

Niezgoda’s career started in 2012 in Wisla Pulawy in II Liga (considered the second tier in Poland) from 2012-2016 with 64 appearances, 24 goals, and 3 Cup appearances. Then, moving to Polish Giant Legia Warzaw in 2016, in the top league of Poland the Ekstralasa.

He played in the 2016-17 season on loan to Ruch Chorzów SA, with 27 appearances 10 goals and 1 cup appearance, after his participation with the Blues he moved back to the Legionnaires of Legia Warzaw.

From 2017 to the present day with the Legionnaires of Legia, Niezgoda has average a total of 51 appearances 21 goals, In Cup play, he participated in 6 games and 2 goals and 2 in the continental cup.

In 2017, he had an international callup with the Polish National Team U-21, with 5 appearances and one goal scored.
