Portland Timbers 1- Houston Dynamo 2
Portland, OR- The rebuilding program seems to be going pretty well in Houston. After a 2016 season which saw the Houston Dynamo hit the bottom, 2017 has put the side from Texas just two games away from the MLS Cup. Despite going down a goal early to the Portland Timbers, the Dynamo responded with two goals to punch their ticket to the MLS Cup Western Conference Finals.
The Timbers would strike first with a Dairon Asprilla goal in the 39th minute. But shortly before halftime the Dynamo would strike back with Dylan Remick putting Houston ahead for good in the series. A Mauro Manotas goal in the 77th minute would be the cherry on top for Houston who would earn their first Conference final appearance since 2013. They will face the Seattle Sounders in a two-legged series which will kick off at BBVA Compass Stadium on November 21st (10pm EST, FS1).
