The Black & Gold hold the series lead with a record of 39-19-28 (W-T-L), having their last meeting with the Revolution end in a 2-2 draw at Gillette Stadium. Miguel Berry — now with D.C. United — got the scoring started with an assist from Derrick Etienne Jr.

Caleb Porter – Columbus Crew Head Coach

“I think they have some changes from the last time we played them of course with Turner and Bursa gone. They’ve been trying to manage those absences with a new goalkeeper and you can tell they obviously have their new designated player fit and ready to play,” said Crew head coach Caleb Porter. “We expect him to play a role in this game but we don’t know that for sure.”

Porter went on to say that, despite the unbeaten streak, that’s not what the team is focused on.

“Like it. Don’t wanan talk about it. We’re 0-0. We got this next game that we want to win,” Porter said.

“The great news is that our guys aren’t talking about the fact that we’ve been in a certain amount of games. They’re focused on the next game and three points and improving.”
