The Columbus Crew are back in action against Nashville SC this Saturday at Lower dot com field. This matchup will be the fourth time that the two teams have met, with a 1-1 draw seeing each side get one point apiece. Columbus, who knocked out the Tennessee side in the 2020 MLS Cup Eastern Conference Final, is the only team Nashville has played more than twice.
Columbus come into this matchup after pulling off a last gasp heroic effort against the New York Red Bulls. After allowing another setpiece goal, it was Darlington Nagbe who tapped the ball home in the 90’+5 minute of second half stoppage time to secure a poing for the Crew.
As for the visitors, Nashville is set to be without captain Dax McCarty as the skipper is serving a two-game suspension for his red card against Real Salt Lake. Columbus: Josh Williams and Lucas Zelarayan are listed as questionable. Zelarayan is suspected to be out 1-2 weeks with a knee injury from the previous match against the New York Red Bulls. Kevin Molino and Isaiah Parente remain listed as out.
Nashville: Teal Bunbury, Robert Castellanos and Irakoze Donasiyano are all listed as out for Nashville. The visitors are also missing Dax McCarty who is serving a two game suspension and will be out until April 9th.
