Vancouver, BC.-On Sunday the Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2 pulled off the late 2-1 victory over Sacramento Republic FC in front of 1,948 at Thunderbird Stadium. Despite conceding early to Cameron Iwasa and Sacramento Vancouver clawed their way back into the match thanks to goals by Marco Bustos and Thomas Sanner. With their victory the Whitecaps moved to the top of the USL Western Conference standings (10-4-5, 19 points).
