Boyds, MD- On a cold, wet night at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds, Maryland the Washington Spirit finally did it. Thanks to a goal in extra time from Francisca Ordega the Spirit earned their first-ever spot in the NWSL Championship, defeating the Chicago Red Stars 2-1.
