Washington, DC- If Tuesday night was the United States Men’s National Team’s final match at RFK Stadium it wasn’t exactly a story tale ending. Although Julian Green was able to put them ahead in the 27th minute, inconsistent play on defense doomed the Red, White, and Blue to a 1-1 draw with New Zealand. Monty Patterson’s 72nd minute strike gave the Kiwis their first-ever draw against the United States and sent the heavily partisan 9,012 supporters disappointed.
