Match in pictures: San Jose Earthquakes versus Real Salt Lake

San Jose, CA- On Saturday the San Jose Earthquakes kept their playoff hopes alive with a come from behind 2-1 victory over Real Salt Lake. Earthquakes opened up the match with a goal from Simon Dawkins early in the first half. RSL pulled level shortly before halftime thanks to a strike by Justin Glad. But the Quakes (8-10-13, 37 points) earned their first win since August 12th with a goal from Fatai Alashe.

The victory keeps the Quakes within six points of the sixth and final playoff spot in the West. As for Salt Lake (12-11-9, 45 points) the loss means that they will need to wait one more week to clinch their spot in the MLS Cup Playoffs.
