Bridgeview, IL- On Saturday the Chicago Fire did something that they have not done yet this season: make a comeback in the second half of a match and get a point. Razvan Cocis delivered the equalizer in the 78th minute giving the Fire just their second point in five consecutive league matches. Goals were scored by Cocis and John Goosens for the Fire and Kaka and Cyle Larin for Orlando City.
The draw matches Columbus Crew’s 3-3 effort on Saturday night and keeps the Fire within one point of escaping the bottom in the Eastern Conference. The result was not nearly as good for the Lions who now find themselves in seventh and outside of the Eastern Conference playoff picture.
