FC Dallas booked their ticket to the playoffs while Houston became the first time to be mathematically eliminated from playoff contention as the Red Hoops defeated the Dynamo, 3-0, at Toyota Stadium. A 19th minute goal from Franco Jara and then two from Fafa Picault sealed the three points for FC Dallas who currently sit sixth in the Western Conference. Their next game is at Nashville SC on Wednesday.
