The Portland Timbers had a couple of representatives on Team of the Week, with goalkeeper Logan Ketterer and defensive midfielder Eryk Williamson. Ketterer made an impact in his debut by stopping a penalty kick during the 2-0 win at San Jose on Saturday, the man joined the team on loan from USL Championship side El Paso Locomotive FC under the Extreme Hardship rule.
Meanwhile, Eryk Williamson had two assists and assembled arguably another one of his most complete performances to date in Major League Soccer. As the man in every match is showing off his mettle and hard work. With a continuance of his performance, I don’t doubt one day he can get the call to play in a European league.
