Week 5 of the Apertura 2015 season of LIGA MX offered some surprising results and a show of strength that almost everyone was waiting for. Tijuana Xolos managed its first league win over Cruz Azul since being promoted to the first division, the only undefeated team left (Puebla 3-0-0) suffered its first lost, Club America’s Dario Benedetto keeps on scoring, and Tigres UANL’s French ‘superstar signing’ Andre-Pierre Gignac help his team flex its muscle with a ‘hat-trick’.
