The Portland Timbers and Los Angeles FC will face in the quarterfinals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday, July 10 at Banc of California Stadium at 7:30 PM (Pacific Time).
For both Portland Timbers and LAFC this meeting will mark their second consecutive time these two face off in quarterfinals of the U.S. Open Cup. Last season the LAFC defeated the Portland Timbers to a 3-2 final score.
The Portland Timbers 4-0 win over the LA Galaxy in the Round of 16 on midweek at Providence Park and LAFC defeating the San Jose Earthquakes on Thursday to 3-1 at Banc of California Stadium.
The Portland Timbers have reached quarterfinals four times (2013, 2014, 2018, 2019).
