The Portland Timbers lately are seeing their turnaround going for the better with every week with one or two of its players are named in MLS Team of the Week.
For Week 18, it’s Eryk Williamson’s turn, despite not being a starter in the game against Nashville. Coming in as a substitute for Yimmi Chara in the second half, the man had an amazing game for the Portland Timbers in their epic comeback in Nashville after being down two goals.
His pass lead became a valuable assist and the equalizing goal scored by Jaroslaw Niezgoda in the minute 69 to crown the Timber’s efforts and the team’s continuance of its undefeated state in the league’s second half.
