Inter Miami has confirmed the signing of Celtic winger Lewis Morgan.
Morgan will make the move to South Florida for an undisclosed fee, occupying an international roster spot pending visa approval.
The 23-year-old winger joins after two years with Celtic, though he spent much of that time out on loan.
He spent 2018 with St Mirren, scoring five times in 15 league appearances, and 2019 with League One outfit Sunderland, scoring once in 17 outings.
Morgan joins Miami having made 14 league appearances in all for Celtic, though he does have a Scottish League Cup winners’ medal.
Speaking about the signing, Inter’s sporting director said: “Lewis is an exciting player that will contribute to our attack.
“He is a pacey and dynamic player who operates well in space. He has shown his quality in Scotland and in England and we’re happy to acquire him.”
The signing takes Inter’s squad count up to 25 following the signing of Argentine defender Nicolas Figal earlier this week.
