Inter Miami have picked Robbie Robinson in the first pick of the 2020 MLS SuperDraft.
Miami have used their first ever SuperDraft pick on the young Clemson star, who enjoyed a fine career as a college player.
The 6ft2″ frontman won the Tigers’ newcomer of the year award in his first season with Clemson, and followed that up with a fine season of last.
Robinson scored 18 goals and assisted nine last season, winning him the Named ACC Offensive Player of the Year and MAC Hermann Trophy awards with the joint most goals in the NCAA.
Miami see the young forward as a contender to start in its inaugural season, David Beckham welcoming Robinson to the club over Skype after Sporting Director Paul McDonough announced the pick.

For their second pick, number three overall, Inter picked Dylan Nealis of Georgetown.
Nealis is a central defender and a 2019 MAC Hermann Trophy finalist.
He managed four goals and five assists in 24 games last season, despite playing in defense.
Nealis played a vital role in Georgetown’s 2019 national championship title and he will now head to South Florida to begin his professional career with Inter.
