Juventus 2 – FC Bayern Munich 0
Lincoln Financial Field hosted the International Champions Cup match on the evening of July 25, 2018 in yet another Philadelphia first half downpour. Juventus wore armbands in deference to Sergio Marchionne, and played as if in tribute. Using its defensive magic, Juventus was content to let Bayern Munich maintain 69% time of possession, but relentlessly attacked on the counter. That approach showed up on the scoreboard. Andrea Favilli scored twin goals for Juventus at the 32nd and 40th minutes. Bayern Munich struggled to penetrate the Juventus defense, and when that did happen, the Juventus keeper Mattia Perin was able to prevent any damage.
