David Guzman is off to Columbus. The former Saprissa and Costa Rican international on Tuesday was traded to the Columbus Crew ending his tenure in the Rose City.

Guzman will reunite with his former manager Caleb Porter in the Midwest having, played under Porter during the 2017 season.

After a slow start and displaying a poor game Guzman looks like he lost his starting spot to Cristhian Paredes who is displaying an amazing game for the Timbers.

David Guzman in his time with the Rose City squad has scored four goals and eight assists in fifty league and postseason appearances. in addition of 54 appearances with the Ticos or Costa Rican National team since his debut in 2010.

He was a part of that National Team that played in Russia 2018 as a starter.

Very well he has been playing and important role and being the one two duo with Diego Chara in the defensive midfield.
