Marcelo Sarvas: The Bible
SM: If you could be the President of Brazil’s FA for one day what would be the first item on your agenda?
MS: One item? One item is not enough to make it work but I would really like to change the academy system of the clubs in Brazilian soccer.
SM: What is your favorite part of living in D.C.?
MS: I really like the busyness of it, how lively it is.
SM: If you weren’t a professional footballer what would you be?
MS: Father
SM: What is your favorite cheat day meal?
MS: Brazilian barbecue
SM: Who was your favorite player growing up?
MS: Zinedine Zidane
SM: What is one soccer stadium in the world that you would still like to play in?
MS: The Maracana
SM: If you could give one piece of advice to the D.C. United Youth Academy players what would it be?
MS: Soccer is not exact math. You never know what is going to happen so you have to keep working whether everything is going your way or whether everything is going bad.
