Vancouver Whitecaps 0-LAFC 2

Diego Rossi and Carlos Vela are slowly becoming Los Angeles’ favorite power duo. On Friday night the two combined to give LAFC (3-2-0, 9 points) the 2-0 win on the road against the Vancouver Whitecaps (3-3-1, 10 points).

Vela’s goal would come in the 59th minute, his fourth of the season. Rossi gave his side the 2-0 advantage and the three points on day with his low shot past goalkeeper Jacob Nerwinski in the 70th minute. Credit to Marco Urena for finding Rossi with space and coolly lining up a pass for Rossi to finish. LAFC goalkeeper Tyler Miller would earn the clean sheet his second of the season.
