Magnus Eriksson would give the Quakes the lead with his strike in the 26th minute, his second of the season. But the Dynamo would come marching back with goals from Tomas Martinez (48′) and Mauro Manotas (63′). While it looked Houston might walk away from Avaya Stadium with the three points Jahmir Hyka would spoil the Dynamo’s victory party, finding the equalizer in the 85th minute.
