A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away the Columbus Crew used their Jedi mind tricks to defeat Atlanta United FC in the knockout round of the 2017 MLS Cup Playoffs. On Wednesday night at MAPFRE Stadium Atlanta struck back, scoring twice to defeat the Crew 2-0 in the World Cup break finale.
Josef Martinez (30′) and Hector Villalba (82′) each scored for Atlanta while Brad Guzan earned the clean sheet.
