Two games, two goals for Kellyn Acosta. Not too bad of a start for the newest member of the Colorado Rapids. On Saturday at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park the U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder spurred a second half comeback for the Rapids (5-12-5, 20 points) who defeated the Los Angeles Galaxy (10-8-5, 25 points) 2-1.
Romain Alessandrini gave LA the lead early in the first half with his goal in the 33rd minute. But the second half was a different story with Acosta scoring in the 55th minute and Sam Nicholson finding the game-winner in stoppage time.
