FOXBOROUGH, MA– The New England Revolution II have announced that they have signed goalkeeper JD Gunn to an MLS NEXT Pro professional contract for the 2024 campaign.
He will occupy a Senior roster slot.
JD Gunn is a 24-year-old, 6’5, 203lb goalkeeper from Panama City, Panama.
Gunn, 24, signs with New England after a 6-year collegiate career at the Biola University (2018-2022) & The University of Memphis (2023). During his collegiate career, Gunn logged over 5,420 minutes in 61 appearances (60 starts) from 2019-2023. The goalkeeper is a 2x Second Team All-Pac West, 1x First Team All-Pac West, 2022 PacWest Goalkeeper of the Year, CSC Academic All-District, Academic All-PacWest and was awarded a D2 ADA Academic Achievement.
In career numbers, Gunn has 79 goals against with a 1.27 Goals-Against-Average. He has registered 218 career saves and holds a 0.736% save percentage.
His collegiate record was 31 wins, 19 losses, and 10 draws.
