Flores to Undergo Surgery to Repair A Medial Meniscus Tear

Midfielder expected out 4-6 weeks.

The Portland Timbers announced today that midfielder Andres Flores has undergone surgery at Sports Medicine Oregon to repair a medial meniscus tear in his left knee.

Per reports, Andres Flores sustained the injury while on international duty with El Salvador National Team, his rehabilitation will be with the Timbers sports medicine staff at Providence Park and Providence Sports Care Center.

Andres Flores, entering on his third season with the Timbers, played 26 games and started in 11 with 1 goal and 2 assists in 2018. In 2019, he appeared in 15 games with 9 starts and one assist.

For Andres Flores, he is expected to return to action in 4-6 weeks around the Portladn Timbers home opener he can be available.
