For Portland Timbers midfielder Eryk Williamson called into a combined preparation camp with the USMNT senior and U-23 Mens National Team. Eryk Williamson will be taking part of the U-23 squad training with the Senior National Team.
His time with the U-23 Men’s National Team will be in its base camp in Annapolis, MD from May 26 to June 2. He’ll be missing the Timbers home opening match on June 1 against the LAFC but ready for the second home match on Saturday, June 22 against the Houston Dynamo.
Eryk Williamson in need of making his debut with the Portland Timbers. So far with his performances with T2 on loan, the man has scored two goals and leading the USL with Seven assists in nine appearances.
For Eryk Williamson being of age eligibility to play in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. In addition of him being a vital piece with the USMNT U-20 in the summer of 2017, being a starter in four matches out of five and important contributor to that Stars and Stripes team that reach the quarterfinals.
