Forward Dairon Asprilla underwent a successful arthroscopic debridement surgery of his right knee. The procedure was performed by Dr. Rich Edelson in Portland.

Asprilla’s timeline for return is approximately four to six weeks. He will conduct his rehabilitation with the Timbers sports medicine staff at Providence Park and at the Providence Sports Care Center.

Still this is a blow for the Rose City side with the season opener around the corner and this makes it a second player on the team that underwent surgery after defensive midfielder David Ayala recently.
