The Vancouver Whitecaps look to continue their recent success as they hit the road for a match against DC United at RFK stadium in the US capital. In their last three games they have a pair of wins over Seattle and Houston and a draw against the Los Angeles Galaxy. In their last five matches between the two teams, Vancouver has two wins, a loss and a couple of draws against DC United, taking 8 of a possible 10 points.
The Caps will be without some major players as Pedro Morales will be out two weeks with a pulled groin injury and Matias Laba will be serving a one game suspension after receiving a red card last week.
Vancouver’s record this season is 2-2-1 good for 7 points in the Western Conference.
