Toronto FC 2 – 1 Philadelphia Union

Toronto, ON – Seems like another atmosphere ignites positive vibes for Bob Bradley and his crew; the BMO field is the perfect scenario to perform what the coach is looking for.

Philadelphia Union successfully made a great combination and Julian Carranza scored into the net of “The Reds” in the 34th minute, but the lead did not last too long as Jonathan Osorio and company were at the front feeding Jesus Jimenez to level the score at 1-1.

Once TFC took the control of the situation the show continued. In the 50th minute, like a ghost, between 8 players, including goalkeeper Andre Blake, Alex Pozuelo went in easy into the penalty area and scored the go-ahead goal for TFC.

This result brings back the confidence for the group, especially since they won against the team who is currently no.1 in the Eastern Conference table.  TFC is slowly climbing in the ranks up to fifth position.  More wins like these are needed to secure a comfortable position, at home and on the road alike.

Also, a momentus game for coach Bob Bradley who celebrated his on 200th MLS match.
