Charlotte FC set to take on Toronto FC for the second time this season

After a disappointing loss to the New England Revolution, Charlotte is returning home to take on Toronto FC for the second time this season.

Charlotte allowed the only goal of the match against New England in added time in the first half. Charlotte finishing struggles very once again present, missing a few big chances.

The last time Charlotte played Toronto was the second match of a three-match road trip where Charlotte lost 1-0 after a goal in the 80th minute.

Going into the match, Toronto sits seventh in the Eastern Conference with 10 points, while Charlotte is ninth in the Eastern Conference with eight points.

Home field advantage has been a real thing for Charlotte, with a 12-match home unbeaten streak in MLS play that dates back to June of last season.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. EST in Bank of America Stadium and streaming on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
