Vancouver Whitecaps 2-Toronto FC 2

Doneil Henry may have just done his former side a favor. On Wednesday night at BC Place the Vancouver Whitecaps defender made

Kei Kamara gave the Caps the early advantage with his penalty kick goal in the 24th minute. But Toronto immediately responded with a goal of their own with Jonathon Osorio finishing off a Marky Delgado cross in the 26th minute. In the second half Vancouver looked like they wrapped things up when super-sub Erik Hurtado scored just six minutes before extra-time.

With the extra goal in injury time Toronto FC now maintains a 3-2 advantage over the Whitecaps heading into the second leg. That match will be played next Wednesday at BMO Field in Toronto, Ontario. Gametime is 7PM EST/4PM PST

On hand to cover the match was Prost Amerika photographer Gerrit te Hennepe. You can check out his shots from the match below and all of his Whitecaps photos from the 2018 season on SmugMug.
