Werder Bremen has been a traditional club on hard times. Each of the last few seasons they’ve fired their manager and barely escaped relegation. Their pair of goals from Danish sensation Thomas Delaney and American Aron Johannsson meant that after being down 2-0 at the half they got a share of the points in the end. For the Foals this could be the second to last nail in the coffin for trainer Dieter Hecking as they continue to fail to earn full points from winning positions.

Prost Amerika Player of the Week:
Mario Gomez and his pair of goals. Suddenly this signing seems to actually be working out when everyone scratched their head when the new broke. Four goals in the five matches since Tayfun Korkut took over and having part in two other goals this key player from the 2006-07 title winning squad has reinvented himself and should this continue then perhaps he will make the Germany squad for Russia.
