Real Salt Lake 3 – 0 Toronto FC
Salt Lake City, Utah – Awesome performance by Real Salt Lake, they beat Toronto FC 3-0 at Rio Tinto Stadium!
A tragic visit from TFC in the western United States, the Canadian team was ready to confront a weaker team with only 13 points.
The formation of Greg Vanney wasn’t a really tactical strategy, Damir Kreilach was the first to brake the arc of Quentin Westberg.
At 28’, Sebastian Saucedo, in a free kick, shoots an amazing goal.
And lastly, Jefferson Savarino closes the account, assisted by Saucedo on the 60th minute of the second part.
For Mike Petke, it was a match where his team recognized the quality of the Reds, but they also new their deficiencies and was able to capitalize on it.
The Head Coach of Real Salt Lake showed with excessive humility his happiness at the end of the game, he kept the same feeling from that goal “festejo” with Saucedo.
With the same 17 points, the coach originaly from Virginia, has much to reflect about the absence of Alex Bono on the door after a few mistakes created by Westberg and a couple of dangerous situations.
Another fact for Vanney is the discipline at the front, Jozy Altidore got a yellow card just when he comes back from an injury and Pozuelo makes an unnecessary fault leaving his group with a man less.
