Both Bayern Munich and PSV Eindhoven came into this UEFA Champions League match on three-match winless streaks. It would be the hosts who ended their streak as they cruised to a 4-1 win over PSV. The first goal came on 13 minutes as Arjen Robben played a quick corner to Thomas Müller catching PSV off guard for an easy finish. Seven minutes later, Joshua Kimmich doubled the lead getting a head from one yard out on David Alaba’s deflected cross. Kimmich now has three Champions League goals to go with his three Bundesliga goals.

PSV pulled one back before halftime. Luciano Narsingh was given time and space on a counter to strike from 15 yards out. PSV had a pair of chances to equalize early in the second half, but Lunk de Jong headed over the bar and Gaston Pereiro had a shot saved by Manuel Neuer.

Robert Lewandowski restored the two-goal advantage after heading in a rebound shot after Robben’s initial shot was saved by Jeroen Zoot. Robben netted his second six minutes from time after getting on the end of a chip pass from Thiago.

Bayern remain three points behind Atletico, 1-0 winners at Rostov, in Group D.

Bayern return to league action on Saturday when they host Borussia Mönchengladbach at 11:30am CT on FS2.
