Atlanta United return to action on Saturday, July 28 at 7:00 PM when they travel north of the border to Montreal. Montreal is a much different club than when they visited Mercedes-Benz Stadium in April and were beat 4-1. They have begun to adjust to head coach Remi Garde and the newcomers have begun to adjust to the league. The Impact of been on a roll at home in Stade Saputo where they have won their last five matches.
For Atlanta they look to Golden Boot leader Josef Martìnez to lead the way, “I think that when one has the possibility to have someone in the kind of form that Josef is in right now all you can really do is sit back and watch and try to enjoy it,” Atlanta United head coach Tata Martino said. “These moments where players are at a very high level, whether it’s Josef or Miguel [Almìron], they’re our players and all we try to do is give them confidence and enjoy those moments.”
