Squad Details
Atlanta has had a tough spell with back to back losses at home, losing two of their last three. They look to extend their four match win streak on the road, where they have not lost since opening day in Houston.
However, Atlanta will have to do it without a few key defenders. Leandro Gonzalez Pirez will sit out due to yellow card accumulation. Also, Atlanta lost all-star Greg Garza for 4-6 months this week. The defender underwent shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum on his right shoulder.
Team captain Michael Parkhurst talked about the challenges of playing in New England, “It is a tough place to play, because New England knows how to play their well…They’re a tough team to play up there. It’s always a tough game.”
