Montreal Impact 4- Atlanta United FC 1
Atlanta United welcomed the Montreal Impact to Mercedes-Benz Stadium for a early afternoon match. The visitors were able to grab an early goal and looked to keep the high-flying attack of Atlanta in check. They were able to do it for an hour, however, the flood gates opened with a hand-ball in the box that allowed super star Miguel Almirón to net his fourth penalty kick of the year in the 70th minute. Atlanta went on to score three more times in the final twenty minutes, including two spectacular free kicks from Kevin Kratz.
Prost Amerika photographer Jim Stapp was on hand to cover the early afternoon affair. You can see some of his photos below and his full gallery from Atlanta United FC’s 2018 campaign on SmugMug. If you like what you see then make sure to give him a follow on Instagram and Flickr.
